“Each morning the cuisinier must start again at zero, with nothing on the stove. That is what real cuisine is all about.”– – – Ferdnand Point
The menus at The Log Cabin reflect an “American Regional” approach to fine dining. Each selection showcases quality ingredients, simple preparations, and proper attention to technique. Half a century ago, hearty steaks and chops set the Log Cabin apart from other restaurants in town, and we continue that tradition with the best cuts of meat done just right. In addition, we offer a variety of composed seafood and alternate entrées that add range and depth to our menu.
We strongly support local and sustainable products gathered from the bounty of Lancaster County, and we take great pride in the total in-house preparation of many items, from bread through desserts. Many of our dishes are old favorites; but these and other special twists help them to become new and extraordinary.
