The Log Cabin is located in the heart of Pennsylvania Dutch country, rich in history and scenic beauty, just above one of Lancaster County’s famous covered bridges. There is a belief among many of the Dutch folks that to kiss under one of these bridges will bring health and good luck.
The site where The Log Cabin stands was occupied by Nanticote Indians as recently as 1860 and is all that remains of the Lehoy Forest. Tall oak trees still surround this location, and several Amish farms and an Amish School are “chust” down the road.
The restaurant is a short distance off routes 222 and 272, approximately half-way between the City of Lancaster and Ephrata:

From the south, you will turn left onto Oregon Road at this Hess station 1 mile before Rose Hill Road. Turn right onto Becker Road after 300 feet. Continue on Becker Road for 1.5 miles until you reach Log Cabin Road. Turn right onto Log Cabin Road and continue for 1 mile until you reach Lehoy Forest Drive.
